A wood burning stove installation, York
This installation at a family home in York involved the formation of a recess which was then rendered to leave a finish that can be painted any colour to suit your room. As with 90% of Hot Box wood burning stove installations the flue was lined in accordance with HETAS regulations in order to form a seamless link from the top of the appliance to the top of the chimney pot.
The installation was finished with a black slate hearth and Oak facing intel which was then treated with linseed oil in order to accentuate the grain of the timber.
