Saey Fenix 80 Flatline, Doncaster

For this installation the client made it very clear from the off set that he wanted an inset appliance. However, the challenge was that there was no chimney breast of indeed chimney at all.

The property was 3 storey so the construction of a full height masonry stack was a very costly option which was initially explored and then dismissed.

In an attempt to reduce costs closer to the budget set by our client we devised a dwarf chimney stack build and then provided the rest of the required height to take the flue outlet above the ridge from an ICS-25 twin wall chimney system. The external dwarf recess was built off a foundation to house the appliance. The roof substrate was made from a 3mm mild steel plate which was then finished in lead to fully weatherproof the installation.

This installation is proof that at Hot Box Stoves we can install a stove absolutely anywhere.
