A Charnwood Arc stove must be matched to the room, chimney and fireplace. The installation route depends on whether you have an existing chimney, whether the chimney requires lining, the fireplace opening, hearth dimensions, ventilation and smoke control requirements.

Clean Lighting • No Kindling

Lighting your Charnwood Arc with Hot Box ® Firestarter

A clean-burning stove performs best when it is lit properly with dry fuel and good airflow. Hot Box ® Firestarter is designed to help light wood burning stoves without kindling, making it a useful companion product for Arc owners.

Place the firestarter in the firebox, add suitable dry logs as directed, light the firestarter and keep the air controls open during start-up. Once the fire is established, adjust the controls in line with the Charnwood user instructions.
