Stove Project Overview
Hot Box Stoves was asked to provide a quote for an installation of Parkray Aspect 4 Eco wood burning stove in a newly built living room extension. Our customers wanted to use the stove as a primary heat source but also add warmth and character to their newly created space.
STOVE
The Parkray Aspect 4 eco stove is a compact and efficient wood-burning stove that is perfect for heating small to medium-sized rooms. It features a clean-burning combustion system that produces low emissions and high efficiency, making it an environmentally friendly choice for heating your home.
The stove is constructed from high-quality materials and features a large glass window for optimal viewing of the flames. The controls are simple and intuitive, allowing you to easily adjust the temperature and airflow to your desired level.
With its sleek and modern design, the Parkray Aspect 4 eco stove is a stylish addition to any home. It is also easy to install and maintain, making it a popular choice for homeowners looking to upgrade their heating system.
INSTALLATION
The installation day began with placing temporary protection in all areas where work was to be carried out. To start with, the stove was placed on a teardrop matt granite-style hearth. A black Schiedel Twin Wall Chimney System was installed to the top of the stove vertically through the ceiling and roof covering.
Following that, a suitable lead flashing kit was installed together with a storm collar; the chimney system was completed with an anti-down draft cowl.
Once all debris was disposed of and the area where the stove was installed was cleaned, our HETAS registered engineers performed a smoke test using Firestarter. The smoke test ensures that there is an adequate degree of draw and that all connections are sealed.
Finally, in accordance with building regulations, a CO/ Carbon Monoxide Alarm and a chimney notice plate were installed.
