Stove Project Overview

The client wanted a feature in a large conservatory to help take the chill off and provide a focal point.

Having considered a number of stoves their choice was a Spartherm stove. 

Having visited our showroom to look at other Spartherm display models the choice was simple based upon the build quality, design and colour options offered by Spartherm stoves.

The installation was relatively complex using a twin wall chimney system to penetrate a slate roof on a conservatory structure. The chimney then needed to be guided across so that it could be secured to an external elevation before being built up to an appropriate height in accordance with Document J and HETAS regulations. 

The stove was placed on a simple slate hearth and the appliance positioned in between two internal doors linking the space to other rooms in the property.

Due to the stove having a 6 week lead time, colour choice meant it was made to order, we installed the chimney system in advance and then fitted the stove when it arrived at our york showroom.

A nice looking quality stove installation using one of the best stoves available and a Schiedel twin wall chimney system.

The end result

As with all stove installations carried out by Hot Box, the project was finished to a high standard using only the best appliances and installation components.

The client was delighted and uses the stove regularly as it makes the space more usable as a living area than before.

Further, they choose to offer our stove service options on an annual basis to maintain the wood burner and twin wall chimney system.
