Stove Project Overview

Our client in Masham, North Yorkshire code Hot Box to undertake the installation of two Burley wood burners. The project involved forming two new recesses to accept the stoves, lining two chimneys with flexible flue liners and battling the snow and ice to do so.

Further, due to access constraints of the chimneys we needed to engage our cherry picker to install the flue liners. Undoubtedly, this is the safest way to install a flexible liner for a woodburner. Ok, so it costs a little more but you cannot allow guys or gals on roofs in the snow or where it is deemed unsafe.

The project was undertaken over 4 days and involved up to three of our HETAS engineers, one of whom operated the cherry picker and helped drop the flue liners down the chimneys.

The end result

Resulting in two of the most efficient wood burning stoves available being installed in our clients house, the property took on a whole new means of heating over the long winter months.

As usual, the work areas, after the stove installations, were left immaculate and the woodburners were fully tested using Hot Box ® Firestarter.

These two wood stoves will help take the chill off, even in rural North Yorkshire.

Further, our client was provided with a few samples of our new, patented and unique firefighter that eliminates the need for kindling, just add logs.

Many years of happy woodburning to come, further, we have already scheduled a service for both stoves in around 6 months time where our teams will sweep the flues and give the stoves a good fettle after a winter of log fires.
