Stove Project Overview

A few tweaks and adjustments to the inside of the existing fireplace recess meant our teams of HETAS registered engineers were able to quickly install our client a new Parkway wood stove.

The existing stone hearth was retained and the back and sides of the recess clad in fireproof boards.

The chimney was lined using a Schiedel 316 grade Technoflex flue liner and pot hanging cowl.

Fitted, commissioned, tested and on fire in a single day.

The end result

Testing was carried out after installation using Hot Box ® Firestarter, a few samples were also left for our client to try.

A wonderfully simple stove installation carried out in York by our teams of superb stove fitters.

The result is a woodburner that will provide able heat to the room and transform the living space over the long winter months.
