Stove Project Overview

Hot Box® Stoves was engaged in installing a stove in a newly built extension. Our clients required a stove large enough to distribute heat across their newly extended kitchen area. They wanted a stove with high output, simple yet elegant finish as well as large window to enjoy the view of the fire from anywhere in the room.

After much deliberation a Parkray Aspect 7 ECO wood burning stove was chosen. Our clients were drawn its contemporary design, wide viewing window and efficient burning technology. Parkray aspect 7 ECO uses Tripleburn® technology producing up to 7 times less smoke than required under the current Eco Design 2022 standards.

As there was no access to chimney, a black Schiedel twin wall chimney system was installed and completed with an anti-down draft cowl. Our clients opted for a square matt granite hearth as well as a large log store in order to raise the stove to allow a better heat distribution.

Once the appliance was connected, out stove fitters performed a smoke test using Firestarter to ensure all connections are sealed and that there is an adequate degree of draw.

Our clients were very pleased with the installation and their new stove, they were finally able to fully enjoy their newly built extension.
